Exclamation Great Rider Down @ Loretta Lynns Qualifier

Hi, I'm here writing this for my friend Jeremy Tucker, who was one race away from easily qualifying for the 2012 Loretta Lynns National Amateur Championship in the +25 class when he broke his femur at a qualifier near Chicago and ended up in a coma unresponsive for a week.

Jeremy is unbelievably naturally talented when it comes to riding a dirt bike. He's also an unbelievably likeable guy off the track. I myself was paralyzed racing motocross at 15 years old and was a hot young prospect comming from Europe. After I suffered my injury Jeremy scrapped his old number and replaced it with my 43, with intentions to carry it on to an Amateur Championship. A real class act.

After his femur had a rod placed in it he was then moved to a bigger hospital in Chicago, where they are now. Jeremy and his new wife are from the Wichita, Kansas area and really could use all the support, wishes and prayers from everyone being so far from home with their lives on hold and entire world turned upside down.

Thanks for checking in with RiderDown. We've received your Application for Assistance and we're working on it.

Best wishes going out to Jeremy.

Mitch, thanks for the heads up on Jeremy and his situation. That's a tough scenario to deal with. A busted femur is one thing (I'm speaking from personal experience) but a Traumatic Brain Injury is a whole different ball game.

Get well quick Jeremy, I'll be thinking of you and sending our best wishes for a complete recovery. Please let RDF know how we can help and how you're doing!!
