General rehab questions

Tim - I'd like to get your opinion on the best overall approach to rehabbing after an injury. Specifically a crash where bones, tendons and muscles were all impacted severely. Any diet/supplement suggestions to help ease the body along as the workouts intensify? Massage, yoga, pilates to stretch and regain some flexibility? Specific types of workouts (ie; heavy weights, high impact stuff, etc..) that should be avoided? Any warning signs from the body (bones clicking, soreness, etc.) that we really need to pay attention to instead of being the typical masochist and working thru the pain?

Thanks for any helpful suggestions you might have!

BV
