Mini Rocketman Racing Team Racer Bailey Plouffe blazed to his first 2008 over all win riding for TEAM RDF!! After grabbing the holeshot in heat 1 at Austin Del Valle- Round 2 of the Triple Crown series Bailey instantly left the pack and had a flawless ride to grab the win. In he heat 2 he again grabbed the holeshot but was passed after leading for two laps as he wanted to ride smart and not get tangled up with his buddy chasing him in second. Bailey knew he only needed a 2nd place finish to win the over all on the day which he achieved. He was so happy. He also amazingly grabbed both holeshots in his 65cc Open class but crashed while leading in both Open Motos and finished 5th. He was 4 for 4 on the day with his holeshots which is a great accomplishment! His little bro Hudson in the 50cc Sr class had a tough day with a few falls as the track was deep sand and rough! He ended up 5th and 8th Open.
Grampy (Steve Smith AKA Rocketman) is supposed to upload the pics very soon! He took some good shots of the boys this time.

Awesome! Congratulations to Bailey!!
Sand riding takes time and patience. My son used to despise it until we took him to the desert enough that he had to get over it if he wanted to ride. It's still not his favorite, but he can (usually) at least keep it upright now! =) Deep sand on a 50 is tough stuff!

Congratulations! Awesome job!
Shoot, I still have a hard time in the sand, I can't imagine on a 50.
Looking forward to seeing the pics!

OK I'm working on it.
The first problem is there is too much life getting in the way of the things I want to do.
The second is a case of being "electronically challenged"
Being born before computers is a handicap.....

Joel,
Sorry it took me so long to get these up. It's been a busy week. I realize that's no excuse...
