My 8 year old is really starting to get some confidence when it comes to jumps. He is a "thinker" and therefore has never rode above his abilty. Of course his father has always wished he was a little more aggressive. Being the "Mom" im happy to just let him ride at his own pace. He is 80lbs and his father is running the stiffest suspention there is that is still AMA legal. He has been hiding the fact that his back is sore. He hasnt had any crashes lately just alot of hard landings. Is this typical?? Should a kidney belt prevent this??

Thanks Angie

I would surely try him in a kidney belt.

He wears a kidney belt. At the time of my first post I had just found out that he was keeping his sore back a secret. I was not happy to hear this. :x Somewhere along the line he picked up the fact that with a sore back he needed to watch for blood in his urine and promptly added that there was none. He is feeling better (so he says).

Thank you!
