I got a great follow up email from Robert today. Robert is an adventure rider that crashed on his KTM 950. He had a broken bone in his neck and was very concerned about his future. He is doing much better. The healing power of the human body never ceases to amaze me. A positive attitude also goes a long way.
Sean (or is it Shawn?);
Howdy from Idaho!
I just wanted to get back to you on my 'condition', as we agreed that I
would, after I'd seen the Spinal Dr.
Well it's great news! He released me to the Physical Therapist and to
go back to work, indicating also that I'd probably return to 100%, after
so rehab work. Yeaaaaa!!
Honestly though Sean, it was you that I credit much of my good fortune
to, as after speaking with you on the phone that day, and hearing your
assessment of these types of injuries, I set my course on full recovery,
decided that I would not sell my MC to finance this set-back, and just
decided to start where I got off. Kinda the "when the going gets tough"
sorta deal...
So thank you for all of your encouragement, and all that you do for 'us'
bikers!
Best regards and Happy Holidays my friend!
