Greg sustained severe facial injuries in a heavy crash. RDF provided financial assistance to him to help with uncovered medical expenses. He just received our check. Here's his e-mail to me today:
Hello Tony, the donation could not have come at a better time in my life. I have had a hard time dealing with the changes that I will have to live with. I love to ride and I will ride again, because it is what I do. I am not sure at this point if I will be at a race pace when I ride, but I hope it will come in time. I hope to be back at work by Dec 28th and doing my job at the best I can. I still finished 4th in the overall Vet-A class, and I will let everyone know about the Rider Down Organization. I hope we will never need you all, but if we do it is a wonderful thing to have for all of us. Just like in my line of work the thanks goes unnoticed and unexpected, but I send it out to all that are involved with the organization. Thank You, Greg...Ride Red.
Hopefully he'll logon and give us a pic or two.
