Important video. I hope it gets viewed millions of times. I hope people pay attention to the message. Unfortunately until the Leatt is required gear or one of the top champions gets paid millions of dollars to endorse it they probably won’t support it. It is a shame that very few people will do the right thing for the only reward of doing the right thing.

It’s just like the Hahn’s device wasn’t required in NASCAR until Dale Earnhardt got killed. It will probably be a reactive, not proactive decision by the industry.

His point about how crowded the wheel chair section is becoming at the races was not lost on me. I'd like to try and get this imagery across to people. In my mind I envision a photo of several SuperCross Pros now in wheel chairs all lined up at a race cheering on the current Gladiators... with a text bubble above each man displaying their major achievements in the industry... ending with the date of their accident.

This kind of impactful imagery is what it takes to get the point delivered to the youngins !

I couldn't agree more. I only wish my son would have been wearing the Leatt he might not have broken his neck. I wish that all the Pro riders would wear them so that the younger riders would see them with it on. My son tells all of the young riders he meets now to be sure and get a Leatt. It only takes that one time and you never get it back. I would like to Thank David Bailey for getting the message out.
