ThumperTalk.com Holiday Fund Raiser is now over. Thank you for all your generous contributions made.
We still can accept donations all year by paypal at donate@riderdown.org or check (address below).

A number of generous and caring ThumperTalk members initiated the idea of helping others this holiday season. It quickly became apparent that the best way to accomplish this was to give was to the RiderDown Foundation.

No other organization on the planet does as much good as RiderDown organization in its tireless efforts to help riders downed participating in the sport they love so much. We are all honored that RiderDown has allowed this inaugural fundraising effort to be conducted on the RiderDown forum and it is our hope that this effort will become an enduring annual tradition.

The goal for this fundraiser is just one 1 penny for every registered ThumperTalk member (equivalent to roughly $15.000). This may sound like a lot, but with a community as large as ThumperTalk, we believe this is possible and frankly, why shoot low! However, anyone is welcome to participate in the fundraising efforts, ThumperTalk member or not. This is not for anyone’s glory but for caring for others that need help when they are down.

This is a fantastic opportunity and we hope that every member of ThumperTalk can contribute – no donation is too small (or to large)!

I just had a chance to take a look at the www.ThumperTalk.com forums and homepage where they are promoting this and have to say, NICE JOB! They've even got a sweet progress meter measuring the donations and how close to the Goal they are!

psssst - it's only supposed to be getting updated once a week. ;)

But we'll try and keep a more current number on here! It'd be cool to have a progress meter on here too!!

How's it looking so far? There should be a good jump from today's donations. Another TT member really laid down the gauntlet today, and I had to pass him. I hope someone ends up making both of us look cheap!

How's this? It's a little rough, but it might do;-) I'm not sure though it'll work in a posting.

Okay, I was hoping it worked for those that aren't using the Safari Browser on a Mac. What I was doing is pretty standard, but I switched it to use inline frames so you should all be able to see it now. I don't have IE available at the moment, but it is working in Firefox on the Mac now. Let me know.

It is in as real time as it is on TT. It's just the TT page embedded here. You can even click on the links. Try clicking on the forums or the link for the store.
