RC: Is He Done?

Carmichael out of Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open; likely to miss Bercy
Ricky Carmichael seems to be finished with racing on two wheels. We had heard a rumor that RC was out of both the U.S. Open and the Bercy Supercross. Mario Marini made a call to Suzuki team manager Roger De Coster who confirmed that RC is not racing the U.S. Open for physical issues and most likely he is done with motorcycle racing, Bercy included. He was told by the doctor to rest and that he may have the Epstein-Barr Virus.
If this is true it's a damn shame! I've known several people with Epstein-Barr in the past and it can really raise hell with them. Good luck Ricky - kick back and get some rest for awhile!! :thumb
