Hi everyone, my name is Drew. I was injured 3yrs ago in a motocross race and now I'm paralyzed. Thanks to a few friends I'm back in the sport with the bike I got hurt on. Over the past weekend I got a chance to talk with Angie at the Road2Recovery Ride at Amerst Meadowlarks and she told me about this site.

We saw your picture with all your "loot". Looks like you were having a great time.
You have to give us all the details from the time of your injury to the present.
No we're not gruesome wierdos, well most of us aren't, but when someone as inspirational as you comes along we all need to know how you could do it.

Where did you even get the emotional ability to get where you are now?

"Inquiring minds need to know"

Take it slow, if it's easier. Give us the story in chapters over a few days or weeks.

Again, welcome to RDF, we attract the nicest people.

I'm so excited that you found us ! I can't wait for you to post some pics of your "Parma-Dave" bike. :cool

I would love to hear your story and how you are still able to ride after being paralyzed?! Thats nuts!

Angie i think its awsome...thanks! i'm in school full time for mechanical engineering so i dont have much time on my hands but i promise i will get my story on here....

Drew - nice air! We need to get you some RiderDown fender stickers for that bike! I was out at Glen Helen last year and watched Ricky James ride that track on his bike - looks like you've got a similar setup?

Mechanical Engineer - you're not one of those guys are ya? :D :thumb
