I had a wonderful opportunity to meet Jordan DeLaurier and his Dad (Paul) to present a little RiderDown love in the form of a Check and RiderDown goodies.

Jordan is one determined and inspiring young man. He has no doubt that he will be back on his bike... and after meeting him I am SURE he will make it happen.

Jordan and Paul both talk in terms of when and not if... They are more concerned about others that need inspiration as well as healthy and smart guidance after injury than they seem to worry about themselves. They are doing what they need to do as a family to make sure Jordan gets to therapy and is surrounded by the the personnel, equipment and ATTITUDES required to allow Jordan to achieve his goals. And achieve them he is and will continue to !

Jordan I wanna thank you and Paul for taking the time to visit with me & Yolanda in your home. We left knowing you are on the way to wellness and INSPIRED by your determination ! We talked about your rocking attitude all the way home !

Right on Jordan!! :thumb We are ALL wishing you the very best and want to see you succeed in achieving your goals. From talking with your Dad, discussing the visit with Jeff and from your own words on the RDF Injured Rider Intake form, I am confident that you will accomplish everything you set your mind to. Please let us know if there is anything we can do along the way to support you in that effort.

Also, please keep us updated on your progress, I believe that your attitude and motivation can have a huge impact on others. This forum only touches a small percentage of riders but we're hopeful that together with guys like yourself that we can be a force of positive change in this sport. Thank you!

I just got home from the Ride to Walk event and about half way through our 3 hour drive home from Ocotillo we pass right by Jordan's house... I was of course wondering how he has been since I saw him last as we pass his off ramp.

What a fantastic answer to my wonder... ROCK ON JORDAN ! :thumb
