I have not seen this posted on the site. I was watching some DVR'd racing last night. The Southwick Lites was on. Right in the middle was about 30 seconds on the Doug Henry benefit and a short interview with Bevo Forte. He mentioned how he has partnered with the RiderDown Foundation and then they show a full screen shot of our logo. That was very cool. They also interviewed Doug and he looked very good.
Great Job Tony and whoever else was involved!

Yeah, I have only heard about the TV coverage so far, I need to find a replay somewhere. Tony was our man at Southwick and kudo's go out to him for all of his help! :thumb
Bevo has been a great spokesperson for RiderDown and it's goal of helping injured riders. Thank him every chance you get!!

Yes, I was there on Saturday and my buddy came and helped on Sunday. We sold 2 gross of Hershy bars and about 40 wristbands. Lots of people just gave money or let us keep the change. Doug is a great ambassador for the sport and is loved at Southwick.
Bevo was very cool, but he hogged all the time with Erin Bates and she walked away before I could meet her...:bounce:
That poster I made actually came out better than I'd thought it would. It was made on a color copier using the "poster" function. Several 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper laminated together.

That's awesome! We need that to happen on a more regular basis!
Tony - A big "thank you" to you and your buddy that helped! Hopefully you got some good pics.
I'm hoping to meet Bevo at the Nationals here at Thunder Valley so I can thank him in person!

In this case, I was unfortunately too busy to take pics. I guess that's a good thing because we raised over $1,000.
Bruce, I don't know how to extract video from a DVR so that I could post it. Does SPEED have webcasts?

Tony - I understand what you mean about being busy at these things! It's non-stop action. :yikes Maybe we should look into a helmet cam and get some video footage?! :D
Speed & webcasts...hmmmm, we'll have to look into that, sure seems like they would have it.

It was fantastic coverage for RiderDown. I was so pumped to see RD on national MX coverage. And you're right... Doug Henry is a great spokesman for our sport. What are the chances of Doug being a national spokesman for RiderDown? That would be a huge boost!
I have a concern though, isn't it a conflict of interest for Bevo "Supercrosses Biggest Loser" to be running around with a fistful of Hershey's chocolate bars. Please keep a close eye on him!!:lmao

Here's some nice coverage about Doug Henry by one of our local TV stations. Not really sure what prompted them to talk to him.

I'd hate to be pushy, but Quad-dad is right, he'd make an awesome ambassador.

I sent Doug an email yesterday about the upcoming SuperMoto GP he's promoting to see if RDF can help in anyway. We'll see what comes up.
Yes, Doug would be a great ambassador for RiderDown! :thumb

That supermoto race is about 1hr from me. Would be very easy for me to attend. However, I think that Linda and I might be on vacation at that time. I'll keep you posted.
