Now is a good time to ask about chest protectors that don't need modifying. I've read about one that needs no modifying but I can't remember which one it is. I'm pretty satisfied with the 661 Defender so maybe I'll just have to modify it.:neutral:

I'm pretty sure you'll have to modify the 661, Jedi. I haven't done mine yet, but I think the shoulders need to be trimmed as I have a hard time putting my goggles on with it like it is. I think the FlakJak is made to go with the brace, but from what I've read, it's on backorder most place.

You're welcome to try mine out when we ride next weekend.

I ordered a Leatt through the store today but it never asked for my credit card info. I don't really want the thing showing up C.O.D. I could not find a direct contact for the Riderdown store.

David - thanks for helping us fix the store! :thumb Sorry for the inconvenience - we were bound to have a few hiccups after restoring the site. We'll get the brace out to you ASAP.

We are using it with the Thor Minishock. I'm gonna get him a Thor Force but I haven't got around to it yet. The Minishock works fine except that the front of the brace won't fit under the chest protector. For now we are leaving the front out.

I'll take some pics the next time he is geared up.
