Once again, the Bader family owes a great big thank you to Rider Down. Shawn delivered Jeremy his laptop with the Dragon Naturally Speaking software and trained him on how to use it last Thursday and Friday. Shawn's patience and dedication is truly amazing. To Rider Down, thanks so much for giving Jeremy back some independence. He's been on the computer for several hours a day since he got it and is learning how to use it. We've joked that Texas Drawl may not be an easily recognizable voice pattern. I know that Jeremy will send his thanks as soon as he can also.
Shawn mentioned to Jeremy that we all ride better when someone is watching, but I think we all ride better and try harder when we know that there are people that truly care and are cheering for you. -- like RiderDown and its members do. Thanks for the computer, the new-found friends, the encouragement and the continued support!=! !=! !=! .

It's the heart and soul of the dirt riding community that deserves the thank you - without their support RiderDown wouldn't have the ability to do anything. That's pretty funny about the Texas drawl - I'm trying to learn the Dragon software right now myself & so far I've been amazed what it can pick up and understand in my speech!
Jeremy - we're all not only watching but we truly do care and yes...we are cheering for you!

I had a great time at the Baders. Jeremy is a great guy and really enjoyed talking racing and motorcycles. I arrived at their house around 2PM and did not leave until around 8PM. I just lost all track of time.
Jeremy took to the computer like a duck to water. After I figured out a bug, we took off and it worked great. Now we need to get him posting here a little more often.
I was amazed how much better Jeremy looked this time. He still is working hard and plans to keep getting better. He will be going to college soon and working to get a degree in Aerospace Engineering! He is definitely a smart guy.
Here is a pic of Jeremy and his new friend:

That's awesome Shawn. Congrats Jeremy! I hope that Dell works well for you and as I said I'm working on the Dragon VR software myself. Please let us know how it works for you - we are definitely looking forward to hearing form you!
I'd like to give a big Thank You to everyone who helped make this happen. First of all to everyone who has donated to RiderDown in one way or another - without your support we would not be here. Secondly to Shawn Hall for taking the time to help expedite this project with Jeremy. Third to Jeremy and his family for working with us and being so open and willing to help!
Nice Job!! !-!

Just wanted to say thanks. Sorry it took so long to post. I had to wait for my mom to show me how. The Dragon program is working out great. I've still got a little work to do, but I can tell already that it's going to be great. It just doesn't like Texan. Thanks again to Shawn for everything. I had a great time talking with him about racing and innovations. I'm looking forward to being more active in the chats and forums. Many Thanks, Jeremy

Hey Jeremy,
Glad to see you have that up in running OK it is a little tricky. I had to get one (software) too to see how it worked, I wish I had gotten it early on after breaking the arm.
Hang in there and keep up the positive attitude, we look forward to see you hanging out here a little more with us!:Powerslide:

Keep up the great work Jeremy. You are an inspiration to all of us! I was just back on your website and would like to post the scripture that appears on your progress page. It filled my heart with hope today when I really needed it. I'm sure it will do the same for others.
"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, annointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him." James 5:14-15
Thanks for keeping us up to date on your progress. I look forward to your next post.
