Andrew Richards - Prayers Needed

I spoke Andy Mulgrew this morning. His soon to be step son, Andrew Richards was badly injured on February 24, 2007. Andrew is 7 years old. He is in pretty tough shape with a closed head injury. He can now open his eyes, but has not said a word.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Any updates on Andrew? I've been thinking about him alot this week and hope things are improving.

Here are some updates that I found on Andrew -

They did surgery yesterday to move the feeding tube to his stomach. He has an agitation movement in his left leg. Other than that, he is still not moving or talking at this point. We still need your prayers.

The benefit riders day is coming together nicely. For the silent auction we have passes to the local tracks (Glen Helen, Competative Edge, Adelanto Motoplex, and Racetown). We are also receiving signed gear from some pros that will be part of the auction.

The companies that are donating for the raffle so far are Answer, John Burr Cycles, Andy Stix Racing, ZLT, Fontana Radiator, Troy Lee, RG3, Mission Honda, and Fox. We still have companies that we are waiting to hear back from.

We would like to thank everyone that is helping us with this riders day.

PLEASE come out and support Andrew on March 31st.

First an update...
We went to the hospital last night and Andrew now has some movement in his left and right arms. His movement in his left leg is more controlled than before. He is still not speaking at this time. A little more forward progress.

We have confirmed some more vendors that have donated to the raffle for ride day. They include Amsoil, ProCircuit, Victorville Suzuki Kawasaki, Honda Yamaha Redlands, TerryCable, DVS, WFO, and Kawasaki Motors.
