View Full Version : The Gilbert Family needs our prayers and support.

Last night I received the worst kind of news imaginable. We (the Starwest MX family) lost one of our riders. On Thursday March 1, Gary Gilbert Jr. age 19 was involved in a terrible accident on the track. He suffered head trauma and on Wednesday March 7 he passed away. Garys father (Gary Sr.) was the former parts man at Westcoast Motorsports in Perris, California. I don't know anymore details right now but will post as I learn more. Please pray for the Gilbert Family.

Kim Deitrick, who was the EMT at Garys side the night of the accident asked me to post the arrangements for Gary. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 14 at Miller- Jones Mortuary in Sun City, Calif. 2-3p.m. viewing, 3-4p.m. funeral. His parents are Gary and Kathy Gilbert. Gary gilbert jr. was my cousin. He was an awsome guy the most cheerful/funny person you could imagine . Being around him made life seem so simple and happy, no worries. He was loved dearley and will be missed!! as a member of the Gilbert Family we thank you for all your support and prayers. thanks again

As we know, losing a loved one is a very emotional period we all experience in our lives. However, it can be a financial hardship on most families. We are asking for support for the Gilbert family ,who lost their beloved son Gary jr. Gary Jr. was involved in an accident at Starwest mx on March 1,2007. He passed away, Wednesday March 7.

It is always so hard to find any type of words or thoughts to try and comfort ourselves during a time like this, just know this one truth that even though his form has passed on his soul is still here with us and we will all be united again.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with Gary's family and friends!
