I'm Donald (aka BigD) and I live in Omaha, Nebraska. Glad to see a group like RiderDown be available for those who are injured from a off-road or mx racing accident.

Welcome to RiderDown! What's your story? Tell us a little about yourself. How long have you been riding? What do you ride? Any battle scars to discuss?:lol: Glad to have you aboard. The members here are awesome!

Well, I've yet to get on a bike myself yet, but got hooked into Motocross back in 2002 and will be making my 3rd trip to the St. Louis Supercross in a little over a month from now.

2006 was the first full season that I helped flag motocross races in Eastern Nebraska and Central Iowa and enjoyed it. I have also helped with flagging go-karts as well. Though this year, I'll still do some flagging, my main goal is re-launching a non-denominational racing ministry called Heartland Racing Outreach. I'll be doing just go-karts and motocross this year and hopfully expand it to stock cars in the coming years.

A little more about me, I just turned 27 on January 27th and currently I'm working at Wal-Mart here in Omaha(atleast one of the stores here - there are about 6 or 7 Wal-Marts in the Omaha Metro). Some of my intrests besides Motocross/Off-Road are Baseball, Football, Golf, Hockey, Camping, Fishing.

That's awesome Big D! Our sport needs people to minister to racers to keep God first in their life. When racers dedicate themselves to this sport, sometimes the sport becomes first in their life and they always need a reminder of priorities. A good flagger is also crucial to the health and well being of our riders. Crashes are a part of the sport, but being run over or landed on can be avoided with a good alert flagger. Thank you for your contribution to the sport we all love!

I'm glad that I'm here. Just as a friendly reminder, I may sometimes need to be put back in place, as I can get out of my normal self when discussing some topics (its all in fun though, as I don't get rough with discussing, but there are times that I'll vent about something that may seem to be out of the typical self that I am - also, I'm a die hard Husker fan, so, you may see my discomfort of a tough loss by the Huskers at times, because I'll always stick up for the Huskers).
