At this weekend’s Amp’d Mobile Supercross GP in Toronto, Canada, Scott USA’s Bevo Forte completed the weigh-in for his special challenge, Supercross’ Biggest Loser. Through this challenge, pledges can contribute per pound for each pound Bevo loses, with all money going to RiderDown. Using the official, certified FIM scales, Bevo weighed in at 351.8 pounds. He will now begin a strict training and diet plan which includes tight controls on his caloric intake. At the end of the SX season in May, there will be a final weigh-in at the Las Vegas Supercross. Pound Pledgers will be able to sign-up on the RiderDown website at www.riderdown.org.
Determined to lose weight for the gain of charity, Bevo will even continue training through the treacherous holiday eating season.
Racer Productions has already donated $2,750 to the RiderDown Foundation from a 50/50 raffle at the Suzuki GNCC Banquet last weekend. The RiderDown Foundation provides financial assistance and personal support to injured off-road riders. Their medical auditing service has helped injured riders save thousands on excessive and/or unnecessary medical charges. Financial assistance may include ‘direct pay’ to medical providers. RiderDown Angels visit riders in the hospital and at home, and offer a friendly voice during difficult times.

If you would like to host a Passion event, please contact Tim Cotter of Racer Productions at tcotter@mxsports.com and your event will be added to the Tour. To learn how to become a RiderDown Angel, go to www.RiderDown.org or email them at info@riderdown.org.
