Malcolm Smith is the reason I fell in love with motorcycles. I sat at the drive in with my family watching "On Any Sunday". I remember so clearly watching Malcom ride up a hill climb, stop, and back it down without ever touching his foot down. When the movie was over, I wanted to be him! I went out and bought my first bike - a Honda SL 70. I have had many bikes and quads since then, but was never allowed to race. My son also had the fever and was a very successful quad racer until a tragic accident at the Steel City Nationals left him a paraplegic.
Thank you Malcolm for your inspiration over the years and for continuing to give to the riding and racing community.

Hi Chris,

Welcome and I bet there are a lot of us that fell in love with it the same way. I hope to meet the man in person this week at the drawing.
