Hey all,

I'm going to Ohio for a few months....I'm a candidate for a surgery to implant a Deep Brain Stimulation unit (think pacemaker for the brain) to help control my Essential Tremor and help me manage it for a lifetime with less medications!!!

I may be down here and there, or slow with my responses, but fear not, all is great and I'll be as available as I can make myself.

In addition, if I DO get selected for the surgery, there will be some pretty fun GI JANE haircut photos posted, LOL! I'm trying to put off my fears of BRAIN SURGERY:shock: by having fun with the idea of shaving my head...bald for Christmas!! WOOHOO!

Hope everyone is having a safe, fun and fast autumn!

Cheers!

I'll be in Mansfield, OHIO!! Ahhh, home sweet home! Recovery from the 2 surgeries is about 2-3 months max, and I'm hoping to be back in southern california by May 2007.

I will still have the same email and phone numbers...and still offering online services throughout the process. KSS Training has also gone LIVE at www.sponsorhouse.com!!! Business will still be a go, I will still be here to answer questions....just a little lighter on the hair department, thats all!

Thanks for your support!

Excellent new there young ladie!!! You and are on simular paths.
3 years ago I had a car accident that almost severed my spine with the seatbelt. I am going on my sixth surgery and am finally starting to walk again. THe Neuro Surgeons want to implant the same device in my abdomen as they us for your brain. My doctor told me that it is essentially is a pace maker - it is even made by the same complany. I am current on, besides five other meds, the Opium patch (fantynal) and Norco to help control pain in my lower extremities. They are planning on installing the leads to the pace maker around my spinal cord for pain control. Aparrently they have found the interuption of signals going to my brain will keep me from feeling pain.. I have heard GREAT results in doing this and I see NO reason why it would work just as good on brain tremors..
Good luck and I am praying for your PERFECT outcome!!
FULL STEAM AHEAD!!!
