My wife is down and out

Hey all. My wife lost control of her bike heading towards a revine, so I pulled in front of her to save her. Well, she hit me so hard that she broke two ribs, bruised her lung and her liver and tore up her right shoulder pretty good. I was thrown from my bike onto the face of a cliff on the rightside. I suffered a spranged wrist and some very minor abrassions on my right forearm. It was getting dark and we were about one mile from the canyon entrance, so I had to put her on the back of her bike and ride her down. SHE IS SUCH A TROOPER, TRUE BIKER IN FORM! Needless to say, she spent two nites in the hospital after a ambulance ride.

I am very thankful I was there to catch her....It would have been possibly deadly for the revine was about 50ft down and nothing but rocks!

Rob - glad you were able to head off the descent even if it did have some consequences! A 50ft. cliff drop is not something your wife would have enjoyed! Keep us posted on how you guys are doing, broken ribs or torn cartilage in the rib cage is definitely no fun! Keep the laughter down to a minimum...:wink:

Rob - How is your wife doing? I say you should sport a cape and a S on your chest for Super Hubby! !-! I'm sure your wife appreciates you saving her from a 50ft fall! Take care and keep us posted.
