John and I was talking and he said post this.
I thought what about going to dealers and having them put flyers or some type of information about Riderdown in the package they receive on the purchase on a new dirtbike. I suspect alot of parents would like this information. The riders would also or at least I would

That's a great idea. We need people to check with their local dealers and see how receptive they would be to the idea.

We have some other comprehensive plans in the works that could tie into this as well.

Way to go Mark!

We should talk to a few dealers about this idea and see what their take on it is & how they feel we should approach it. We've got flyers up in quite a few dealerrships around the country but this idea takes it a step farther. It has merit. Talk to your local dealers and ask them for their help with an idea.

It wouldn't cost them anything & would allow them to do something positive.

Thanks for the idea Macho!!

A problem I ve ran into is my flyers have a big KTM on the back. While that is way cool. My Yamaha and honda dealer would be in the wrong promoting another product. Its a conflict of interest even though this is awesome thing. I plan to just copy one side of my flyers and see if that works.

M - the back side of the flyers is a variable piece - we have been promoting the KTM 200 Raffle heavily (anyone need tickets?? ) hence the info currently on the backside. We will work on new content for the back side that can be used by more people & different shops. Wouldn't your dealer like to be listed?

How there is an idea, an "A" list of supporting dealers on the back side. Cool Beans!!!!!

Macho - is the newer version of the RDF flyer more to your liking? Have you had any success with this idea? Let us know what else you'd like to see for this idea to take off!

As the Financial Services Manager for Cernic's Suzuki, a flyer could be easily given to each customer with their paperwork. Jeff Cernic is huge in the racing community and I'm sure would be behind the idea.

Bruce, this would be a great "ice breaker" with Jeff. Between our three stores, we deliver about 3000 units each year not to mention Pleasure Valley raceway which is owned by the Cernic family. I know Jeff was very upset when my son was injured last year and would be very open to helping the cause. Please let me know how I can help.

You know what we could really use help with right now a long with the RD flyer is getting the Bevo SX Biggest Loser Flyer in their hands and see if we can round up more donations. There is a great incentive program for every $5's of donations an individual brings in. So go get'm the end of the SX season is not to far off and our riding season is just around the corner and we are projecting a large volume of requests from Injured riders.

Here is the location of the downloadable/printable (are those words? ) Flyers.

Joe,

Bruce has tried to contact Jeff Cernic, but he is a tough guy to reach. He and Carrie Coombs from Racer X work closely together on many projects and maybe since they are working with you on "The Passion Tour", she could give Jeff a nudge and we could be the pilot program. Jeff also has many "high up" connections at Suzuki. If we could use his influence to get Suzuki to distribute this at every Suzuki dealership, Wow!
Also, since Suzuki's factory quad rider, Jeremiah Jones, was injured last year, Wayne Hinson, manager of the Suzuki/Yoshimura Race Team could be very influencial. They will be competing in the WPSA series as well as the ATVA quad nationals. Jeremiah's injury left him paralyzed and unable to compete, but was retained by Suzuki/Yoshimura as a manager/trainer for the team. What a class act! Jeremiah could also be very helpful getting the word out at the nationals.
