Hi all!

I got an email and phone call from Bruce Vermeulen last week asking if I'd like to help with the forum and provide information on rider training and safety. Of course I do! I am very passionate in assisting riders to be the best they can, both physically and mentally!

I am the owner and operator of Kinetic Sports Science Training. My services include on location training, mental and life coaching, general and sports nutrition consulting, as well as developing custom training programs for individuals who's distance is too great for hands on training. I'd love to have you check out my website www.ksstraining.com for more detailed information. You can also read my regular column in the new motocross magazine Motocross Illustrated. The article is titled BASIC TRAINING>

Just like most riders, I've had some injuries that took a while to recover from. In 2004 I broke my throttle wrist and nearly lost my hand! That slowed me down a bit. In late 2005 a doctor diagnosed me with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease. However, as of yesterday (September 22) a very well respected and accomplished neurologist gave me the best news I've had in years! Its NOT Parkinsons!!! I do have whats known as Essential Tremor now, but its much more manageable and less life-robbing than Parkinsons! Whew! Unfortunately it will keep me off bikes, and I'll need a few surgeries, but hey, I'll have more time to hang out in here and help you guys!

Thanks for having me, I hope to make a meaningful contribution to the forums!

Welcome Gretchin

Now as far as training goes, I have been working out on my Lazyboy 2000 Reciprical Recliner. My right shoulder is starting to hurt when I use the Manual Actuation lever to start my leg lifts.

I think it has to do with the way I am crunching my abs as I have to lean a little forward and reach to my lower right side and down to get to the manual Lever

I new I should had got the LazyBoy 3000 that bad puppy is Electric

Seriously

Bruce does occasionally sit up on command - it just depends on what's being offered.

When talking with Bruce the other day he mentioned you were a new member and that you love what you do! That's great because I already have questions for you regarding nutrition and meals. I'll look to see if the forum has been started and I'll also check out your website to see if some of my questions have already been asked by others.

So glad to hear of your good news! Welcome Aboard.

Guys--you are too funny and keep me laughing!!=!
