New? in Colorado

Hi There-

I'm not sure I'm actually "new." I have been lurking around the site for a few months, just reading. I have done a few volunteer things here and there. It looks like there is some more for me to do now, so I decided to finally say "Hi"!

I lurked for a while due to relocating from California back to Colorado last March. It took us a while to get settled, and then Summer hit and both kids were home full-time. Now that school has started again, we're back in a routine. Yay!

Riding is not so much my hobby, as it is my husband's and my kids. My son started racing this summer - he is 7. My daughter, who is 4, is looking forward to starting racing next year. Even though I don't ride, I couldn't help but get sucked into the whole moto-life. It's definitely a family sport, and we all enjoy the weekends of riding and racing.

Hopefully the Rider Down t-shirts that we sport at our weekend events will bring a few more people to this site. I caught several people reading the back of my daughter's shirt last weekend!

Anyway - looking forward to working with you all on such an awesome cause!

Currently he's racing SRAC. We are going to race an RMXA race on the 24th to see how that goes.

We are going to be getting a new enclosed trailer pretty soon. Yesterday my husband suggested we put some RiderDown graphics on it. I thought it was a great idea - I would just need a graphic file, and a lead on someone who can make it a trailer-decal.

mommotox - I'll be interested in your opinion of the two series, good luck on the 24th.

We have talked with several companies about trailer graphics and definitely have some leads & ideas. The graphics file is no problem! Let me know a few mnore details about what you're looking for and then we'll go from there!

Yeah, we are very interested to see how the RMXA race goes. Once we've done that one, I'll give you my thoughts....

As far as the trailer...we have to buy one first. We expect to within the next month or so. Once we do, I'll get the graphic and your contacts and we can go from there. Hopefully it will generate some interest at the local races here, and when we go to Anaheim for Supercross in January! =)
