Ode to Tire Changes

I hate tire changes-

Procrastinated tire changes have the better of me-

Amassed 5 wheels in need of sneakers-

Laying in the sun, warming up, hurry up sun we're burning daylight-

Tools at the ready, tubes and bands all powdered-

Rears first, the toughest thanks to Maxxis Desert IT .Three done, two to go-

Fronts next, Bridgestone's soft and rubbery-

Valve and nuts on, fire up the Craftsman son and grab me a new beer-

20, 30 .40 50, 60 psi...."POP" and seated-

1, 2 , 3, 4, are done...5 and whoooosh...:ops:...pinched SOB

I hate tire changes.

Oh those balls-
Those big old balls-
Do we really need balls?-
Some same you really should use 'em-
Can't say if I need 'em, but I'll keep them around-

Have you ever used tire balls? No need for them here in the sand of FL but I would think in the mountains and deserts of the west they would be worth while?
