Good morning all,
Fairly new rider here. I had a KTM dirt bike a few years ago and just got my first street bike (KTM dualsport) a few weeks ago.
I had heard about this site, but did not come here and learn a lot about it until I saw it mentioned frequently on KTMTalk.com.
Only been to a couple of amateur races as a spectator, but I had a great time. It is nice to know there are still competitive arenas not soaked up with corporate profits and star-athlete egos where men and women of all ages and skill levels can go out and enjoy a family event with a little healthy competition thrown in for good measure.
And I applaud this organization for filling in that critical role that will ensure all who appreciate motorcycles- whether we race motorcycles or not- can have the opportunity to support riders with what they need when they need it- not letting downed riders' needs rest on the decisions of an insurance company or other disinterested entity.
Some will give, some will receive. But we will all win by being part of a community with a common passion for riding that takes care of our own. That's how I see it anyway.
