Hi ALL
Just a quick note to let you all know I am still here. I have utilized a new way of spreading the word............I now keep a few RiderDown fliers in my locker at work( that being an ER of the local trauma center). Whenever an injured rider comes in, I pass them a flier and start conversation w/ the rider and/or the family members about the program.Many have heard of this through KTM TALK, but have not visited the website.........I was also thinking, since we are looking to spread the word, how about an inhouse contest............we'll call it member-get-a-member. Maybe a moderator can set up a section for those who register to keep track of new members and the recruiter contact...............just a thought.......Don

PS I will nedd a few more fliers when they become available. Also who do I contact about ordering t shirts?? E-mail to whom??

T-shirt orders are given to the "First Lady". I mean um uh Twin Turbo's... :D She would be the presidents wife (that would be Bruce).... You have some very good ideas on recruiting new members.

Hey Don... Are you working at Stony Brook? I recently spent two days with my son at St. Catherines and asked everyone I saw if they knew an ER guy who rides dirt bikes...someone said they thought you were at Stony Brook.

BTW, I printed a bunch of the flyers...I can drop them off to you at the ER when you're working:)

Don - I like your idea of the member get a member program. Other than the reward of knowing you are helping injured riders in need what other enticements would you suggest to get people to join ,make a donation and help spread the word?

Hi All,
I am still here, been away for awhile, busy summer. For those of you wondering, I work at Westchester Medical Center in NY, I do know many Dr.s and nurses that do work at Stoney Brook, thats part of the benefit of working in a teaching hosp, you get to know the reidents before they become attending doctors(and knowing which are "great" Dr.s), not to mention that the healthcare community is really a smal world.
.....Anyway, I like the new site, took me awhile to get used to te change, but the smile emoticons are awesome0-0 :bgutair: :bounce:
