Hello RiderDown.org & GNCC Racing fans:
We have an opportunity for someone to act as a liaison between the RiderDown Foundation and GNCC Racing. Racer Productions/MX Sports and the GNCC Racing Series have been huge supporters of the work RiderDown Foundation does for our riders and their families in times of need. Given the growth of the organization we need to have someone "on the ground" at the races who can represent RiderDown and assist in organizing, managing and promoting the various fundraising events we have planned. Specifically, we are looking for someone who will be attending the entire GNCC Race Series and who is able to take on the challenge of helping a charitable cause. This position demands a very special individual who is passionate about their sport and wants to give back to the racing and riding community. Additional help may be needed in preparation for the Snowshoe RDF Golf Tournament scheduled for Friday, June 25th.
Hours and duties: Varies depending on the event.
Pay & insurance benefits: Non-Existent.
Fringe Benefits: Priceless! Also, RiderDown and GNCC gear, GNCC Racing Hard Card (Free admission and VIP parking).
The primary responsibilities of the RDF/GNCC Liaison are as follows:
- Assist with the organization of the RDF presence at the race series.
- Use the RDF website regularly to inform our supporters of events and happenings at GNCC events.
- Recruit volunteers at specific events (like the Snowshoe Golf Tourney) to assist with promotion and follow up.
- Proactively establish contact with various media entities and sponsorship opportunities on behalf of the Foundation.
- Contribute to regular meetings (conference calls) about the direction and strength of RDF's relationship with the GNCC Series and the racing community.
If you would like to help, feel that you can fulfill the responsibilities and have the necessary skills, please reply to info@riderdown.org. Include your e-mail address and phone number so we can communicate directly.
Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting RiderDown and GNCC. Take care and ride safe!
