I am writing to you on behalf of Chase Grimes family and friends. Chase is a very talented 10 year old boy with a passion for racing motocross. On Oct. 24, 2009 Chase was injured in a terrible crash while at Salem Arenacross. Chase sustained a broken femur, tibia, fibula, shattered ankle and heel. He also suffered injuries to his knee, and a broken back. He was rushed to OHSU Doernbechers, Portland, OR hospital. He has already undergone multiple surgeries and has developed fluid in his lungs and is expected to have many more surgeries in the next few days. Chase's parents, Brad and Sadie, have been heavily involved in the local racing scene here in Southern Oregon. Brad and Sadie started Southern Oregon Supercross and Arenacross approx. 3 years ago. Their willingness to help out the local riders is unquestionable. It is now time for us to give back to them in their time of need. We are trying to raise money to help Chase's family with expenses arriving from this tragic accident. We are going to hold a benefit auction on November 21, 2009. So I am asking for your help. Any donation that you could provide would help us out tremendously. No amount is too small. Chase deserves a great road to recovery.
