Chris had a tough crash at the CT River Motocross park in June. He did severe damage to his wrist, basically breaking all of the connecting tissues and nerves.
I had a chance to visit with Chris and his family tonight and brought him some support from RDF. Good people and cute kids! Chris has another surgery coming up on August 18. Please wish him well.

Guys, I don't know what to say. I wasn't expecting help like this. I literally broke down and cried because of what this means to me and my family. To have complete strangers, who share a common love of motocross riding, helping one another out. It is awe inspiring, amazing, humbling.
I hugged Tony. He drove all the way out into the boondocks after a long day at work to deliver a little care package for me. Well that care package will help my family for the next 30 solid days while I am recovering from another operation. I don't have to worry about them right now, I can focus on getting better.
My wife actually said she will wear one of these braclets because she has never witnessed such organized generosity for people who really need it.
I love you guys, everyone involved with RiderDown. Thank You, Thank You soo soo much.
Just amazing!

It was nice to meet you and your family, Chris. Best of luck with the upcoming surgery. And the drive into the boondocks wasn't so bad....pretty part of the state.

You guys are the best! Thanks to you I am able to spend some quality time with my girls for a little while without the weight of the world on my shoulders. Obviously we all know it's our own fault when we get hurt, and it's a struggle to have to see that decision affect so many people. I must say , the support from the motocross community is something I was not expecting. to date they have donated nearly 75% of my income since i was injured on 3/31/09. this has allowed me to stay current on my mortgage and has shown everyone who is against motocross riding, how strong our common bond is.
The donation from RDF was so out of the blue and so helpful, I can go into my next surgery on the 18th, thinking about getting better, not worrying about my mortgage!
Thank you guys so much. i love you!
