Last weekend we drove our RV from our home in Evergreen, CO to Gunnison to do some family camping and to catch up with some old friends. If you've never driven out 285 and then up Hwy 50 as we did I highly recommend it as it's a beautiful drive. About half way there we were dismayed to discover one of the back duelies was flat. :yikes We had just put these new tires on 2 days prior and needless to say were pretty irritated with the company who mounted them. The valve extenders had not been installed correctly and were ripped out and MIA! We opted to coast down a mile to the upcoming town and see if there was someone there who could help. There in Johnson Village we were directed to Mark and Danny, a father/son team, at All Valley Auto to see if we could get our flat fixed. We were so grateful when they stopped what they were working on to help us with our tire and in the process we found out Danny used to race dirtbikes and Mark and his wife still go to the tracks to flag and keep time. We spent a couple hours with them talking about racing and RiderDown while they had the necessary parts deliveredand gave first class service to the other customers who walked in. (One lady even offered to leave her credit card with them so they could go ahead and charge it when they were done. What does that say about the kind of people Mark and Danny are? Wow!!) When we went to settle up with them we were pleasantly surprised that they wanted to donate the cost of their labor to RiderDown. What we thought was such a disaster turned out to be a really great experience. We met two great guys, spread the word about RiderDown and made it to camp just in time for a ****tail and some yummy camp food. So if you're traveling south on 285 in CO and happen to make a pit stop in Johnson Village, take a right after the Coyote Cantina and stop by All Valley Auto to thank Mark and Danny for helping out the president of RiderDown and his family and be sure to tell anyone you know who lives near there to support their business.

THANKS MARK AND DANNY!! :thumb

Amy is right - these guys were fantastic. Sometimes we're reminded what a really small world we live in! The people involved in our sport are the best.

Thanks again to Danny & Mark for there help, it turned a frustrating problem into a great experience that's one of those things which restores faith in people. All Valley Auto....we're glad we met ya! :thumb
