Last November, Boise, Idaho local rider Willie Bosserman, mechanic at the KTM shop and son of the owner Bob Bosserman, suffered a fractured neck during a relatively low speed crash while riding near Idaho City. Will was airlifted out of the woods to a local hospital where he underwent four surgeries to stabilize his spine and repair damage. He then spent several months at the hospital recovering. Will is now out of the hospital and home with his parents. Will has partial paralysis from the neck down, with limited use of his arms/hands. He is going through extensive rehabilitation and is progressing well.

Some of you may already know Will as he is always at the top of his class in the Idaho City 100 ISDE Qualifier every year. His dad Bob and brother Joel are also heavily involved in the Boise Ridge Riders organization and do quite a bit of work on the course itself.

KTM USA has graciously donated a brand new 2008 250 SXF loaded with goodies to be raffled off. Tickets are only $25 each and all proceeds will go towards the purchase of a motorized wheelchair for Will. We appreciate all the help and support Will has received from the off-road community. Thanks to all of you!

This motorcycle is on display at KTM MotoSports (6481 Overland Rd in Boise, Idaho) and it will be also available for viewing at the IC 100 qualifier at the end of May.

You can purchase raffle tickets in person at KTM MotoSports or online at our web site. For more information see:

Idaspode - thanks for posting the flyer. I spoke with Willie's Dad a few months back to see what Riderdown could do to help at that point. Time to revisit!

Good luck Willie!!!
