TORN - Texas Off Road Nationals.
My 14 year old son raced his first ever race today at the TORN (Texas Off Road Nationals) track in Bridgeport, Texas. I'll start by bragging a little. He has only been riding frequently about 3-4 months ago. He started on a Honda 80 last year and for Christmas got the Yamaha YZ125 (2 stroke) that you see him on now. He has been riding with his youth group from church, as their leader is a MX / enduro guy and has slowly gotten just about all the boys into it.
The race today was a timed race for 1 hour of hard riding. He finished the entire race, which was his goal, and actually did pretty well. I won't have the final time until tomorrow but he seems to have finished about mid-way in his group (125cc Amateur).
