Two dates to choose from and I can tell you from personal experience - the weather is fantastic out there during both of those times!
Here's a big thank you to DualSportUtah for "Helping Riders Up" and supporting the RDF as well as the American Cancer Society!

This area of the USA is just so perfect for Dual Sport riding !
We've spent many a happy mile on the same route and I can guarantee you will come away with nothing but great photos and memories.
I sure wish my calender wasn't quite so full.
"A ride of a lifetime" is no exaggeration at all.
Make plans to go, a great riding area and worthy causes.

Yes this will be a great ride!!! It's my first time trying to put on an event and I am hoping for a good turn out and all should go smooth with food and lodging. Its up to you to sign up and get in on the fun with a bunch of new brothers and sisters on the trail. Two days and around 180 miles each day for two great causes RDF & ACF.
We would love to make this a yearly event and with your help we can!
Ride on! :fiddy:

The first of these two rides starts on April 3rd which is normally a beautiful time of year out in Utah.
Go here www.redcliffslodge.com to check out the accomodations. I drive by here a lot on my way to Moab and it's one of those places that stands out in your mind as "wow, I'd love to stay there some time"!

Whew! We covered close to 500 miles in 3 days through some of the most awesome territory in the country! The Kokopelli Trail was a blast!! I'll try and get more details up soon - I'm still in catch up mode from being out of the office. :yikes
Check out the blog and report from Pat, the photographer we were fortunate to have along on the ride. Pat and his wife Cindy are traveling the world in their RV and living large doing a lot of really cool stuff and testing a bunch of products. His website is www.everymilesamemory.com and his blog is at http://www.everymilesamemory.com/pats_blog.htm (scroll down to October 15, 2009 for the report on this ride or read his whole thing for some very interesting stuff!).

Day 2 of the RDF Dual Sport Utah 500. Notice all of the Klim gear that the guys were wearing! Klim is definitely the apparel of choice with this crew!!
It was great meeting everyone who took part on this trip! Thanks to Jim Ryan of DualSportUtah for putting it together!!
More to come................... :cool
