The Offroad commuinty has had a very helpful person injured last weekend,Becky Estrada.Becky went riding last weekend with her brother and had a pretty hard crash.She got up dusted her self off and rode back to the truck loaded up and drove home.The next day she went to the Docs and found out she had a broken neck and fractured femur.They took her to SanDiego and has been through a week of surgery to clean up some floating broken bones that could of spelled diaster.Im not 100% sure of her condition right now but the last i was told was she was still in icu and my be in her own room this next week.Thought and prayers for Becky please.Les I hope you can give some more up dates.

Hey from El Centro, CA
I'm the lady that stepped off while on a Sunday ride in January with my brother. RiderDown Foundation has been very supportive a special Thank You to Les Walker. At this point it is exactly 2 months to the date post crash. C3-C5 are fused, left femur is healed & PT has begun. UCSD spinal team Dr. Yu-Po Lee a splendid & compassionate doc will have me begin spinal PT hopefully in April at this point the C-Collar is the standard wear will keep you posted. Thank God I'm walking & Thank you to all the positive support & prayers. Live to Ride Another Day..... talk soon

I spoke with Becky just the other day and she is doing really well. In fact, she has come so far that she is now back out at the races and telling everyone about her recovery! Keep up the good work Becky!!
