In honor of Alex Booth.........
This is taken from a post elsewhere on the RDF forum...
"I am new here, under unfortunate circumstances, which, is sadly why I'm here. Our Community lost a very important guy this week. Please feel free to do a search on BR1 Suspension in Watsonville, Ca......what you will see is a small town shop that had trackside support that was spread to all riders, customers or not, riders.......young, old, friends, new friends.....a young man named Alex Booth, age 24, who was the most caring helpful one anyone would have the honor and memory to cross a path with.......we have asked that in lieu of flowers, gifts, money that donations be made to your organization........no one has 'set that up' .........please tell me how this works and that donations will be received in his name, and anyone so giving will also contribute to in the name of Al for this very dangerous, challenging, sport that has kept us all together in all times, good and bad....."
Not sure what else to add here, Alex was obviously very well liked and left a huge void with his passing.
This was pulled from the BRI website....
"Due to the recent tragic events, BR1 Suspension is closing its doors.
BR1 Suspension has been highly involved in amateur motocross racing since we first opened our doors in 2001. BR1 Suspension started by helping out the local racers, and evolved in a company sponsoring racers from all over the United States.
The tragic lose of Alex Booth has forced the closure of BR1. Customers with suspension in the shop for work will be contacted as soon as possible.
A gathering to celebrate Alex's life will be held Saturday, November 8th, 2008 from 1:00pm until 9:00pm the Moose Lodge in Santa Cruz, California.
