No doubt the speed & now consistency of these three is amazing! I hope they all stay healthy through the rest of the season.

Reed has definitely picked up his pace & he (IMHO) has learned a lot following these guys. It's a long season & Daytona always seems to be a turning point. Chad's consistency this year in getting on the podium has been huge.

Flat out - speed & lap times though - Bubba has been amazing on that 450!!

All that being said - at the end of the season my pick is RC this year.

ps. Nick Wey will be on a Factory Bike soon.

Ride On,

Reed was a slow starter and a strong second half of the season guy, at least that's how it played out last year and it started right here at Daytona.

If Chad is nothing else he is a very fast and consistant rider who you can't give points away to and expect a screw up in return, he just doesn't make mistakes.

I hope this track is similar to the Gary Bailey tracks, he really built some of the best tracks, he had a lot more area to work with here than the normal SX locations. One of the toughest areas was always the big triple closest to the center of the track that he would then take you into these grueling long run of whoops then right into a timing section. The whoops took RC out of the game last year around the 14th lap. He was within a second or two behind Reed the whole race and lost it there. Reed loves Daytona and always rides well there. We'll see what James adds to the mix this year, last year he missed this race with the injury.

I agree about Wey, I'm surprised no one has picked him up yet, especially Honda with Ernie out for the Season.

Talk to you after the race.

Go RC!

This all reminds me of nascar three years ago when my favorite driver matt kenseth one the championship with one win. Consistancy will always win a championship. We learn this at a young age with the turtle and the Hare... I am not a Chad reed Fan nor really anyone else out there. If I was to root for someone to win it would be Nik Wey, or Tyler Evans. But this has been the best racing I have ever seen in Supercross. But I must admit I will probably die still thinking Mcgrath was the greatest of all time!!!
