Team RDF does a TRIATHLON!!!!!

Well......not really,

Got a blanket e-mail through my club's website that in Stamford, CT the Kids in Crisis benefit Triathlon was looking for motorcyclists to ride the course with marshals as passengers as they referee the bicycle portion of the race.

My leg's still on the mend from the last enduro so I was skipping today's. So, my buddy Mike and I decided to help out. We ended up being the only two moto-volunteers.

It was pretty cool stuff, the weather was good, and I learned a little about triathlons.....not that I see myself doing one any time soon.

So, what did you think of the triathlon? It's something I've thought about training for, they have a mini(?) one on Mother's Day every year. It kind of sounds like fun, in a sick and twisted sort of way. :D

There were some guys there in worse shape than I, so I got to thinking about it. But to do a respectable job I'd think you'd need some pretty specific training that would take up a lot of time that I've got dedicated to riding.
