I'd be out there if I could :D
I don't know about other parts of the nation, but its been pretty warm here lately. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Bailey and Hudson, the Grandkids, have been in Canada all summer.
I went riding a couple of weekends ago and had my master link just evaporate at 50 MPH. The case saver went the same way and the chain tore up the left side case.
First chain break I've had since 1968.....I guess when Honda says only use a riveted chain on the XR650R they mean it!
It starts to cool down in the desert next month so we'll get back to it.
Most of the local riding is waiting for the weather to cool down around here.

I have been racing Harescrambles and tearing up the yard with my brother, nephew girls and friends. I switched bikes..to a honda but I think within the next week or two I will be back on a yamaha. It has been a total blast racing with my brother. Something about lining up beside him just feels great. We are running #1 and #2 in our series class with me being #2. I've lost about 15 pounds and feeling great.
We have also started a race /ride team called CrossThreaded Racing. We have taught 3 guys how to ride and they are now apart of our team. Its cool seeing them progress.........its getting harder to out run them, lol. We do a thing call slow man leads here at the house(about a 4 mile loop). The slowman cannot be pasted during a loop. But everybody else battles for second. Its just a blast and you can hear each of us giggling as we get cut off or cut someone off. I do think its also helping us out for picking lines and passing. Well the weather has not slowed us down, we ride one to two days a week...HAHAHAHAHAHA! Its great to have your own practice track! Thats it for me so far...ROOST ON PEOPLE!

We actually haven't raced in over a month! Between company and the kids being with their grandparents, it's been a slow racing summer. We plan on being back in action next weekend...
