I have been wanting to get the kids new helmets this year, just figuring it was time. Neither of them had visible damage or had sustained any major impact, but I just felt like it was time. So, we had been looking and sizing the kids, and came up with the ones we would order when the time was right. Well, yesterday Rylan had a big get off, and the time was suddenly right!
I had been looking around at pricing, and Motosport was consistently the best price on what we were looking for. Today, when it was time to buy, they still were, and I happily called to place my order (I called so I could ensure shipping since we have to have it by Friday). The guy I dealt with was awesome, and the helmet for Rylan was actually $10 less than the advertised Internet price! They have free 2-day shipping on orders over $100, but I paid the extra $20 to make sure they got here in time. At most places, that would have cost me as much as the helmets!
I happily donated my $1 to RiderDown, too! =)
All in all, just wanted to say that we feel like we just got a SMOKING deal on 2 high quality helmets, had excellent service, and were able to give a little to RD at the same time. We got two helmets for $100 less than the local dealer was selling one of the helmets for!
