Hudson Plouffe:
To start off, I would like to congratulate Hudson on his 1st Overall sweep in the 50cc 7-9 Sr class. Hudson stole the holeshot in both Motos and put in a flawless ride to take 1st place in both motos and get the over all win. Hudson, who just turned 7 has been racing in the SR class since age 5 do to his KTM SR bike (AMA Rules). Yes, he had to eat a lot of dirt. He has been close to a win a few times but never managed to get to that checkered flag first. Good job Hudson!:thumb
Hudson also raced his first ever race on his 65cc. He also took first place in this race. He raced LEVEL 4 which is a small bike open slow class.
Bailey Plouffe:
Baileys Saturday practice started off with a bit of scare. On his 3rd lap Bailey went down hard in some roller whoops on his new 85cc and had his tooth knocked out. He slid on his head and shoulder for 50 yards. I cannot stress enough how much I believe his Leatte Brace and 661 Pressure suite saves him from serious injury. He hit his collar bone so hard that his Leatte brace made a print on his collar bone and shoulder and I believe saved us a trip to the hospital.
Now to the race...
I would like to also congratulate Bailey as he took the overall sweep and win in the 85cc JR Class. This was Bailey's first race on an 85cc and he was lightning fast!!
Bailey took second over all in the Level 2 (Level 1 being the fastest) Open small bike class on his 65cc. He was beat out only by a boy racing a CRF 150 that I thought should have been in level one with the other 85s.:thumb
Overall it was a great weekend! We also managed to raise a bit of cabbage for RDf as well.
Our next race is Next thursday for the Freestone Am National.
