Yesterday, the Tri-State enduro marked the "real" beginning of the enduro season here in New England. The Snow Run back in February is kind of an isolated event, and now we're getting into the season.
After my relatively good performance at the Snow Run (2nd in class) I had high hopes. But, this course really got me yesterday. The terrain is almost all single track with jagged, planted, 8" rocks covered by leaves & mud in almost every foot of trail. The bike is constantly dancing toward the trees. I just couldn't get the mojo going.
I ended up 6th out of 9 in my class. Time to hit the weights and the bicycle.
I'll post pics if I find any.
