Please check out Skype, it is a great way for us to all communicate verbally for free across the country and the Globe.

All of us at RiderDown are on it everyday. It will be a way for all of us to communicate and plan the details for upcoming events. It even has live video if you are one of the brave one's.

Check it out at http://www.skype.com/helloagain.html

Hi Cherie,

I can't begin to tell you how great it was to spend some time with you and how awesome I think you are. The energy and love that you show for the people of this sport and the sport is just incredible. If there was ever a living angel you are it. The way you have taken Cody and his family under your wing, you were one of the first people out on the track when a young man broke his leg this weekend and it just goes on and on. Your enthusiasm and energy is a glow that radiates from your ever present smile. You are one of a kind girl! Robbie should be selling RRsis tshirts. :Powerslide:

We are privileged to have you as part of our team. !=!

I really enjoyed meeting your family, the kid's were a kick.

Now, I'll stop embarrassing you.

Macho - let me get back to you in a bit, I spoke with some track owners in Arkansas earlier this summer. We sent a bunch of stuff for them to use in support of Chase Borders. Maybe we can do some more?

Joe,

I could be a rep and helper here in So Cal. Your D-37 Dez rep as it were. Also an ARC Angel if you need one here.
First off I would like you to email me details on the KTM Raffle as everybody who races desert would love to have a KTM including my son who wants that bike bad. I think I could sell a few tickets out here. I would also add, my club Rovers MC is hosting a race Dec 10. I would like to talk about ways to get the word out ie: a spot on the flyer if it isn't too late and your flyers at sign ups. I have many other ideas but I won't get carried away. I could also piggie back the pennies idea to our D-37 possibly. I would have to clear that with my CEO (wife) to be a collection point here in D-37.

Hi Dane,

It was great to meet you out at the GBM. We would welcome your help out there.

I'll get some things together and email you a file that you can print some flyers and volunteer packs for now. Just email back your address and I'll get a package of flyers for your use and some wristbands you can give out as people donate.

We have conference calls on Weds night and would love to have you involved along with our Volunteer Coordinator, Angie. She will be the one that can really help you organize the efforts out there.

Thanks for volunteering and we look forward to working with you.

We have a bunch of stuff going on and the summer season is revvin' up! if you have any interest in pitching in and helping out with anything please let us know. Click on the tab at the top called "Join RDF as a Volunteer" and fill it out - we need your help! This is an open invitation to give something back to the sport and to your fellow riders, we hope you'll get involved and help make a difference in the lives of those who share the same passion about riding as you do.

I signed on as a volunteer last year. I am from the Sun Valley Area here in Idaho and I race the Southern Idaho Desert Racing Associtaion (SIDRA) We have some great races here and some good riders show up causing alot of spectators to show, i.e. Worcs rounds, AMA Hare Scrambles, Idaho City ISDE Qualifier. I would like to help out if possible. I am looking at getting some shroud graphics for me and my son's bikes. I think the foundation is a class-act group. Please let me know what I can do. Thanks, Kevin.

I too have filled out the form and never heard anything. I'd love to help if I can get time too.

I live smack in the middle of Tatonka and Mommotox so don't think I just won't show up at their doors if I have too :)

Let me know what I can do. So far I've delivered an ArcAngel bag, but that's it and would like to do more.

I know this is an old post but if you ever need any help around the Virginia area, I live in Virginia Beach, VA and am currently disabled/retired so I have plenty of time to help out. I am a volunteer member of the board of directors for the VA Championship Hare Scrambles Series. Any help I can provide I will. I have been a member of the message boards since the beginning but have been offline for a very long time. I'm back now!!!!

Hello all,

I also have filled out a volunteer form and just want to hit the "refresh button" on my desire to help whenever needed. The help that was extended from Rider Down last Christmas and the local push that took place for Ben Burdick got me hooked. Again, I am here if any help is needed

My husband and I have also filled out a volunteer form but have never been contacted. The local motocross track in London, Ky has recently been bought by Rick Teague from Tenn. He is the process of making a great deal of changes. I think a Riderdown booth would be a welcome addtion to the track. We wouldn't have a problem talking to him about it. I'm also willing to volunteer in the booth or anything else that might be helpful. My husband is a track medic so his time would be limited to what he could do on race days at the track but he also is eager to help out in any way.

You all have no idea how grateful we are to have so many people who are so willing to help RiderDown help riders up! We haven’t forgotten about any of you, I promise!

Here’s what we can always use…people organizing fundraising events/booths at events. We are more than happy to provide flyers, stickers, anything we can to support you. We can sometimes provide some logistical help, too. However, there are only a few of us on the board, and we can’t do it all, unfortunately!

We can also always use people handing out flyers at their specific events they attend, too. A grassroots kind of effort will go far!

We will get in touch with you when/if we have events in your area that we need help with. If you know of a large, national event heading your way, feel free to ask us if we’ll be there. We can always use help at events that we will be attending! And, we do try to be proactive and contact the local volunteers to see if they can help out.

If you guys have ideas for fundraising and getting the word out, please let us know. We like for all events to be run by us prior to too much planning/effort, just to make sure it’s in-line with our mission.

We definitely need help in many areas, especially figuring out how to work with so many great people spread out all over the globe!
