Todd is a Marine who suffered a crushed L2 while riding. RDF provided financial support. His own words (from Injured Rider thread) say it much better than I could:
I just wanted to let you awesome people here at Riderdown know that I have received my package and am extremely grateful.
As you know I am in a wheelchair and I have two small children. My oldest, Gunnar, is almost 2. He loves to be outside running around the yard and riding his trike and playing with our dog. The hard part has been trying to keep up with him. we have a fairly good sized yard, but it is all uneven and bumpy. He is constantly running from the front of the house to the back. Sometimes when he goes to the front, he runs up by the road, which means I usually have to yell for his mom in the house to go out the front. I am going to use the gift to go toward an offroad wheelchair. They have shocks and offroad tires and will really help me be able to spend more time with him. He is so important to me and I am grateful for your help in keeping us close!
thank you.
